Is there a water inlet valve (a solenoid) that specifically is allocated to Bleach dispensing for Maytag MHWE201YW00 washer, or, for this model washer, is there a rotary valve that determines which water nozzle in the back of the dispenser drawer has water come out of it? Is there a way I can get a copy of the service manual for this washer?
Hi @mdamico , Here’s the tech sheet for the washer. Go to p.5 to see how to get into the diagnostic test mode. On p.6 the 2nd diagnostic test Control Action says Fill by cold water via bleach compartment (4 liters) and this is done by checking Double valve (VC1 and VC2 at same time). On p.15 is shows the wiring diagram from the CCU to the valves. If one of the valves is faulty then unfortunately they both have to be replaced as they cannot be repaired. They come as a complete module, consisting of two valves. The part number is WPW10212596. Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best. Hopefully this is of some help.
