My iPhone dropped down and the screen damaged then I replaced the new one, but the problem is I can’t hear someone during a call while microphone and speaker are okay, Even when I use earphones or Bluetooth speaker I still can’t hear someone! but when I try to make a WhatsApp call it connect well, I have tried to update it to the latest version, tried to restore and reset it but the problem is still not solved!!. I need your help please!.
Sounds like audio IC damaged. Though I recommend trying to restore the phone (after you do an iTunes backup to keep data on your phone) if you haven’t already and see if that solves the issue. If that does not help then there is a hardware issue and not software related. Audio IC can be replaced via micro-soldering but I don’t think it’s worth doing for 5s.
