my phone was working fine a few minutes ago before this post. its probably because i was at the mall 2 days ago and dropped my phone in the sink by accident and dried it with my jacket and was still working fine afterwards. but only now at 11am it stopped. what do i do with it?
Hi! The best thing to do is, first dry it, then place the phone in rice, it’s dry and will absorb liquid. Give it some time and make sure the phone is turned off. After some hours, check if the phone is completely dry, if not dry it again. Later, you should try a hard reset (home button and power/sleep button, till you see the Apple logo). If it still won’t boot up, you should check if there is any corrosion inside the phone, if so, clean it and try again. (Make sure the battery is unplugged when opening the phone and make sure it’s 100% dry and cleaned when you test).
