For no reason my phone just starting to switch on and off repeatedly. It was working fine the one minute and the next minute just switched off and then on again. It stays on for about 5 seconds and then turns off again and then on again. And so it keeps repeating the process. I tried restarting, and tried power off with no success. I then took the SD card out but the phone keeps doing the same. When I remove the SIM card then it stops switching on and off, so it seems that the problem is with the SIM card. Is that even possible? Please advice urgently if there is anything that I can do.

Huawei is on off buy itself

Guys, I had the same problem too. I took it to the Huawei authorised repair centre. They had the phone for few days to find out that the vibrator was faulty. Occasionally when the phone vibrates, it resulted in an internal short circuit which ended up rebooting the phone. If the phone vibrates while rebooting, it goes back to restart mode again. They replaced the vibrator at free of cost. Now I am one happy HUAWEI customer. Hope this helps Note: According to them, any internal damage could result in continuous reboot.

Did you do a complete reset? Sometimes it does the trick. And it reads a bit like the power button is stuck. Maybe it doesn’t feel that way but if it is only a bit stuck it still thinks it has to reset. Or water damage?

For no reason my phone (Huawei Y7 Pro 2019) just starting to switch on and off repeatedly. It was working fine the one minute and the next minute just switched off and then on again. It stays on for about 5 seconds and then turns off again and then on again. And so it keeps repeating the process. I was just watching videos at youtube. I tried restarting, and tried power off with no success. I then took the SD card out but the phone keeps doing the same. I have the same issue… this started about 6 hours ago

I’ve been having the same problem tryed reseting the phone putting it into safe mode none of it worked, I haven had it long so there was no way it was damaged in any way it was definitely a software fault but I managed to find the fault by luck not brains. All I did was change the theme it must have been crashing the phone somehow.

You might want to go to settings -advanced-then backup and reset and youll find the reset settings option then you want to click on it and wait and it will restart all your settings No data will be deleted Hope this helped also im 12 UwU

Try a hand flush. If you still having the problem then you should visit a customer center. It might hardware problem.

My mom has this problem too on her Huawei P9 lite

Take it for repair.. Sometimes it might be the Circuit… and beware of using the Blackberry Charger on Huawei… I had the same only to find out that the charging system and the Camera Circuit were burnt beyond repair. It doesn’t need factory reset rather take it to repairing proffesionals!!

I cannot tum on or off. The screen keeps flashing constantly on and off all by itself. I tried charging it but it hasn’t worked. I do not know how to open the phone from the back to check on the SIM card. Can you advise me what to do /

I have the same problem and I went to the service center of Huawei. 1st method is they reprogram my phone it was okay for 2 days and the problem returned so the 2nd method is to change the main board which took me 2 weeks to wait because they have to order it from the main store and the changing of main board took 2 hours. So far my phone is okay now and the new main board has 3 months warranty. Total payment is almost 30USD

Mine was fixed in the end by replacing the battery…it had got old and stopped holding its charge, and although it wasn’t running out completely, my phone kept rebooting itself as if it had.
