I have recently set up my printer, the black ink cartridge is full and there is paper. However when I print, it prints out a blank page, though no error message about the ink is given.

try printing a print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from the printer panel not pro PC On the control panel home screen, touch the Settings icon then Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report. The printer will prints the Print Quality Diagnostic report for check to see if all colors are correctly out or not or you can just make a color copy of any colored document you may have to see if the copy is ok and all colors present Report back your findings.

Question No. 2 I BOUGHT CARTRIDGES FROM THE SAME SHOP TO REPLENISH BUT THEY NEVER WORKED. I TOOK MY PRINTER TO TEXTBOOK CENTRE WHERE THEY ASKED ME TO LEAVE THE PRINTER FOR DIAGNOSTICS. THEY TOLD ME THE CARTRIDGES HAVE NO ISSUES. ITS THE PRINTER THAT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. I BELIEVE THE CARTRIDGES ARE FAKE AND HAVE MESSED UP MY PRINTER. THIS PRINTER IS HARDLY 5 YEARS
