I’ve tried everything, including; plugging in ps4, resetting my controller ECT., It works perfectly fine with my ps5 and other devices.
With the PS4 off, go into safe mode by holding power until it beeps a 2nd time (about 7 seconds). When it asks you to connect your controller, try it there. If it works, then your wifi module is bad. If it doesn’t work then your southbridge is bad. For others, this advice is assuming the controller and cable are known to be working. Since OP mentions it working elsewhere, this is satisfied here.
