Hi, I bought a ps4 slim for my son and it has been dropping connection a lot, several times an hour. Ive tried setting the ghz, the dns , rebuilding the database and initialising the system again. Nothing works. As an experiment i brought my own ps4 upstairs and the new one down to the living room (few feet from router). my ps4 is running perfectly as normal and the new one is still dropping connection. It is definitly not my isp or router.. Has anyone got any idea? Faulty? Cheers
Sounds like you might have a defective unit. That is the only device having connection issues right? I know you said you tested it with your own system but are any other devices dropping connection? Also what router are you using?
