So I was trying to clean my ps4 and I cleaned it up and everything, so when I started it up it started up for 5 seconds, the fan were very loud and then it beeped and turnt off, so I thought the fan was the problem and it wasn’t I powered it on without the fan being plugged in the motherboard and it did the same thing, it turned on for 5 seconds made a beep and it turnt off, I don’t know if it was the thermal pasted or anything so please help me :(
If you have ever removed the heatsink, the issue could be thermal material, the CPU will overheat in a very short amount of time. Sometimes something in the power supply goes bad and that doesn’t let the right amount of power get to the console. This makes the console turn right back off. Another common cause of this problem is faulty solder joints and/or faulty chips on the motherboard. You can just troubleshoot by yourself and make sure that everything is OK.
