I have a 2006 mazda 3 GT with a manual transmission, and the reverse lights are always on even when im not in reverse. thanks for any help…
Hi @likelyneedshelp , You may have a faulty reverse light switch in the transmission. Couldn’t find it for your model but here’s a video that shows the switch location in a 2008 Mazda 3 so hopefully it will be similar to your year and model. There are videos on YouTube that show how to test a reverse light switch. While I couldn’t find any videos specific to your particular vehicle the principle would be the same. If it is faulty search online for 2006 Mazda 3 GT reverse light switch part to get results for suppliers.
