My S7 Edge had a fall almost a month ago that resulted with a few streaked lines across the display but no cracks. It was still manageable and my intention was to get screen protection to slow down the process of getting worse. I hadn’t quite gotten around to doing that when I was till using the phone normally after-which which it asked for an update which I permitted. After the software update was complete, I noticed the screen began to act weird (display kept vibrating vertically) and then like 5 minutes later the screen just went black although it still showed that the buttons were working. I factory reset the phone hoping that would recover an initial version of what I was managing but I think I must have done this while the phone was still on and now the phone would not even respond. Please what could I do at this point? What are my options? Thank you
Could be a bad software update that caused this issue, a lot of Samsung phones have had similar issues after a software update. Unfortunately the fix for this could be a couple different things most of which are centered around a screen replacement first to get a picture in order to do software fixes.
