I dropped my phone from like 3ft off the ground, it fell on the back with a case on it. The phone still turns on but the screen is just back. I can use siri and i can still tap the screen but its just black.
It sounds like it is your backlight. The backlight is just what produces the colors on your phone. Try reconnecting your screen to the phone. The screen may have been knocked loose when you dropped it. The backlight itself is located on the logic board so i don’t think it was damaged. Reconnecting you screen will probably fix it.
