I am sorry I cannot add photos without my phone :^/ I dissembled the phone okay up to removing the existing battery adhesives. Which ripped and I could not get out safely with floss or prying with the card, so I used a topical syringe, max 10 ml. I applied 4 total ml in 2 phases, once, let dry, removed most of one strip, 2 more ml, successfully got the battery out. but the rest of the components got isopropyl on them, is this known to damage the logic board to the point where it will not even light the LCD?
I allowed 2-3 hours for the 91% isoprpyl to dry before reinstalling the new battery. All the cables to the digitizer connected with a click, but I struggled to get the upper left screw in, it seemed like it spun freely, or wouldnt spin at all, in my model this upper left screw for the digitizer plug covers is built into the shield. I double and triple checked the connections but still no luck. The ifixit battery should at least cause the iphone to boot with the “needs charging display?” What do I do from here?
Maybe this will help you How to resolve not powering up or not charging iPhone SE
