@jorge21 a half dark screen is usually caused by either a bad backlight array or a bad power board. We would need to know your TV’s exact model as well as needing to see what your screen really looks like. Post some good pictures with your question so that we can see what you see. Yes, it is always possible that this is a bad panel but it is not a primary issue that a failed panel will turn half black. Adding images to an existing question
