After putting the phone back together the screen is black. The vibrate function is working. I replaced the lcd screen and digitalizer on it because it got dropped.
The first course of action is to double check the display connectors. I know this sounds dumb, but you’d be surprised how often this can fix the problem. Which version of iPhone do you have (original, 3G, 3GS)?
if all is ok with the connection and the LCD. you certainly don’t power off yr idevice when you open it. 1 dl Recboot 2 enter recovery mode 3 exit recovery mode
