Sometimes while using my system the screen turns black and it remains “in sleep” if no action is taken. Almost instantly when moving the lid in some way the screen magically comes to life again. This happens very rarely and is not really and major issue, but it is nagging me a bit and since I’m about to sell the computer it would be nice to solve it before I sell it. I would say it happens once a week, sometimes a few times in a row. It feels like if there’s a loose connection in the joint between the screen and the computer itself. I have not found this issue on youtube or forums. Regards, D
Most likely power supply issues. If it goes black and after pressing keyboard it wakes up then it could be software. But if you need to change position of lid it could be backlight coil/filter or actual cable faulty. If its coil/filter/backlight . Try to target flashlight to the black screen and try to see any objects on screen itself
