My tablet was working fine but then suddenly the screen went black. However I let it to charge and and tablet was working normally. All of a sudden the screen went black again and now it is not working but if I press on the volume button I can hear the volume going up and down. So as a result my tablet is fine except for the fact that it is a black screen and can’t see was is going on with my tablet. Do any of you have an solution???
Have the exact problem right now. Heard of a few options holding down volume button and power for 5 secs and may restart Also flexing the tablet ever so slightly this worked for me once but back with the same problem. Let us know If it works for you
I hope this answer helps others. I fell asleep watching something on my tablet. The battery alert woke me, so I plugged it in until it was fully charged. When I went to use it the screen was very dark, but everything seemed to work okay. I tried everything, searched through all the settings looking for screen brightness, even deleting some big files in case the memory was full. Then although it was really hard to see what I was doing, I pulled down the drop down box that has the summary of the functions (time, day and date, wifi icon, location icon, sound icon etc.) and just below those is the screen brightness bar which was at its lowest. As soon as I moved it, the screen lit up as normal. I must have shifted it while asleep. Lizzie
Had the same problem with my daughter’s Samsung tablet. A black screen but I could hear the tablet “working” so it wasn’t totally dead. Watched this video on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-w3fP5b… As per the video instructions I took the back off the tablet and reconnected the LCD connector. Clipped it back into place and hey presto the Tablet now works and displays normally. I suspect my daughter may have dropped the unit causing the connector to come loose. Then again it may just work loose over time. Its a fiddly thing to reconnect but you should get it done in 5 mins. Just be careful taking the back off the tablet. Take your time and work your way around the edge slowly. Hope this helps.
