Yesterday I was driving home and my car started speeding up by itself. As I pushed the brakes it slowed down but could still feel my truck trying to speed up. Only way to stop it was to put it in park and turn it off. Other wise kept acting like it was trying to accelerate by itself. Any answers?
I’d start with the throttle, it could be sticking open. Make sure everything moves freely with no gumminess or binding. If if it has an electronic throttle it could be worn out and reading the voltage improperly.
