My sharp aquos 55 inch 4k lc-55p6000u screen has gone a bit blue. Everything is tinted a bit blue. What can cause this & how do I fix it? ’’’ ’''
I am not sure if this is the case for you, but we had a TV in for repair that had a similar kind of issue, the image it displayed had a purple-blue tint to it. Turns out in that case, the manufacturer (I forget who it was) had made the backlight LEDs out of a certain material where as they aged, they started to color-shift from their normal white to a more purple shade, causing the wonky image. We replaced the LEDs and were back to normal. Now, there are other things that may be wrong so I can’t say 100% that is your issue, but seems like a possibility to me. I would do a little research and see if you can find other people complaining about this issue on the same or similar models.
