Hi, My TV had a problem with a dead LED. I dismantled the TV and fixed the LED, and put it all back together. When I tried to turn the TV on again, I got coloured vertical lines down the display. I tried reseating all the cable connections again, but that didn’t fix the problem. Is this something I can fix at this point? https://i.imgur.com/KgUMyKm.jpg That’s a picture of what the current problem looks like. I’ve read that it might be a T-Con board problem? Could I have damaged the LCD screen to cause this? Thanks.
@ranike … typically, when the display was fine before any service work like this is perforemed, the worke performed is the likely suspect. while a led wouldnt cause this, removing and re installing a panel display will. these display panels are very fragile… this does look like a damaged display. i would remove the bezel and back cover again and take a look at the driver tabs attached around your screen for any damage or bends. you may spot where the error occurred. if not, you will then either be able to see a point of flexion in the display or the displays attache buffer boards at the bottom. check those ribbon cables that are attached to the display as well.
