My hitachi tv is just staying on standby mode even when i try to turn it on the light just stays red and doesnt change
Hi, What is the model number of the TV? Have you tried turning on the TV using the Power button on the TV itself (if it has one)? If it turns on this way but not when using the remote have you checked that the batteries in the remote are OK? Here’s how to test if the remote is working (applies to all IR remotes) Check that all the buttons on the remote work. Usually the Power, Vol Up/Dn and CH Up/Dn buttons wear out faster than some others as they are used more often.
