PLEASE READ BEFORE ANSWERING! THAT IS NOT THE MODEL OF THE TV WE HAVE. MY MODEL IS NOT LISTED. WE HAVE A SAMSUNG UN32EHS4003F. Just yesterday, the tv in my kids room started randomly going black but still had sound. We unplugged the power cord from the tv to the extension cord and it works fine until it goes black again. We thought maybe the tv had gone bad, and replaced it with a spare tv. Started doing the same thing within 24 hours. We thought it could be due to the fire stick and swapped it out. We changed the power cord on the new firestick. Nothing. We bought a new extension cord. Still goes black. Is it possible that the outlet is causing the issue? Also, random information, but this started happening about 2 days after I replaced the lamp in their room. The lamp is plugged into a different outlet and requires a touch to a small button (similar to using the fingerprint id feature on a phone) to turn it on. Does not have a regular turn dial or pull string like most lamps. Is it possible this could be causing power issues that would affect the performance of the tv? May not be related at all, could be coincidental. Just seems odd that after 2 years it is now not functioning properly. Thanks for any and all help!
@jmhernandez215 unlikely that this is caused by the lamp. Just to test it out, remove the lamp from the room and see if it makes a difference. The other thing you want to do is to totally remove the firestick and just use a local input source. Something like a DVD player or game console etc. Firestick’s have shown that they can do this at time. Once you have done that let us know if there is a change. For now, I am not convinced that this is a TV issue.
