My tv continuously flicker(sometimes it goes black and white) for a couple seconds and then turns itself off and on again while screeching weird noises out and i don’t know what to do. Been happening for a while but getting a lot more common now that it is unbearable, like every 5-10 minutes

Possibly the video input circuitry. Let us know what exact model your TV is. Try different video input sources and see if that makes a difference. If it does not you do want to go ahead and remove the back cover and check the main board.
