So the tv is turning on, the vizio logo appears then instantly go black then it shows the screen again like its on a channel then back off. Tried taking out the batteries in the remote, unplugging it and back in, unplugged it and held power button for 1 min and plugged it back in, pushed the power button like 20 times or more, tried a different controller, all same results over and over again. @oldturkey03 Update (02/07/2022) Ok @oldturkey03 I just got the new board in, hooked it up and now the (power) white light stays on for maybe a second or 2 longer and has a little slower fade but the picture does the same thing except now I don’t see a second flash. I even unplugged the video ribbon cable and same result.
@oldturkey03 Unsure about audio. I believe the tv turns off but not sure. The power indicator is white when I hit the power button and then slowly fades off after like 1 sec. Nothing is connected to the TV. I did take all the screws out, popped the back cover off, and took out the main board and it is burnt as indicated on the back. Ordering a replacement board and will post a update after installation. And for the flashlight deal, guess I didn’t think of that. Will try that next time but for now, since the board is burnt I’d rather not put everything back together lol.
