I just my Acer Aspire e5 575g only a week ago and just today, my usb port stopped working. I have tried device manager and disabled the selective disable system. Nothing still. My usb port still provides power, but no data. What can I do?

Sounds like 1 or more of the pins on the USB port have for some reason become unconnected to the logic board… if your willing you can try opening and inspecting the port and re soldering the the four pins for the USB (9 for USB 3.0) or try taking it to a computer repair shop (not geek squad ) if you have never soldered anything before. If you do open it post some Pictures of the port on the inside

just try to reinstall your windows or make a restore to the date was work fine then try to update your bios if nothing happen be sure its about logic board
