My sound or volume does not work when my phone isn’t connected to a dock or does not headphones plugged in. When I push the volume buttons the slider is gone. Also when I go to my music, the slider isn’t there unless I have headphones in. I have tried cleaning both the charging plug-hole and the headphone jack and it is still faulty. Can anyone help me fix this ?
I had same issues with my old iphone 4s.. My dock connector is splashed by water and some dirty causing problem in electric circle. Battery is draining very fast, volume slider is gone off and my iphone acting like is in headphone mod. I was tryng cleaning dock connector, blowing off with hairdryer but no results ONLY WORKED SOLUTION IS REPLACING DOCK CONNECTOR… after that my iphone forking like charm and battery is totaly ok… i hope that i help you..
