I used the ifixit kit to repair the Xbox 360 RRoD, and got to the step where it got plugged in. However, the fan in the Xbox does not turn on/work when plugged in. Any suggestions on how to make it turn on so that I can reset the ventilation of the Xbox?
Have any of the caps become swollen? From what I understand, using a heat gun to fix RROD can risk danage to the board’s components, other than doing the CPU reflow. If you have a spare, I would try a replacing the fan to rule it out.
