Chosen Solution

My MacBook is online (my DropBox is synchronizing), but no online content is showing (in Chrome, Safari, Spotify, AppStore, etc.). However, when I run the cursor over a website, I can see that there are links, and when I click them, the browser website changes. So, I’m somehow online but nothing is showing. Please help? :-) MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, early 2015), macOS High Sierra, version 10.13.6.

Try a fresh copy of macOS and see if that helps with this issue. Please, do yourself a favor and back up your files before re-installing macOS. I suspect an AirPort board issue if a clean install of macOS doesn’t fix anything.
