Why Is Nothing Happening When I Activate The Machine Sodastream Source

I have the Soda Stream Source, and it stopped fizzing the water. I have bought a new gas bottle, and also changed the battery. The lights activate on the front panel but no gas is released in to the soda stream bottle, therefore no fizz. Has anyone had this issue before?
