When I start my 91 accord dx something under my hood clicks. I have transmission issues already, I have 3 out 5 gears and one of them grinds when shifted in to. I am new to the whole car problem thing and I am hearing different things from different people. I am making sure that that click is my tranny not my engine correct.?

Really if your car has already lost transmission gear usage and grinds, you should seriously consider stop driving/using the car before catastrophic failure, causing a serious accident or leaving you stranded. Is it making that sound while its idling or while you’re actually moving because of transmission shouldn’t make any noise at all if you’re not in gear
