Hello, I have an macbook air with motherboard 820-3437-b. The problem with this device is that if I plug in the power adapter it turns on by itself and after some time it displays question mark folder I touch cpu and is quite hot… I have replaced the SSD and is the same. I also replaced the power management ic U7100 nothing changed. Any further guidance in order to help me to fix this device? Thanks in advance

Sounds like the logic board has corrosion damage. I would give the logic board a good cleaning with in an ultrasonic cleaner and then do a detailed inspection for damaged traces and components. Using either a good IR FLIR camera or using old tech splashing a bit of Isopropyl alcohol on the logic board to see what areas are running hotter to help focus you to the area that needs deeper inspection and diagnostics. Given the amount of labor to diagnose the logic board and the difficulty on getting the discreet parts sometimes replacing the logic board is the smarter direction. I think that’s likely the case here MacBook Air 13" (Mid 2013-Early 2014) 1.4 GHz Logic Board
