I replaced the LCD and digitizer a year ago and everything was working well until recently. Now the very bottom of the screen will not respond to touch. If I tap many times then sometimes it does respond. It’s not such a big deal when I can just rotate the phone 90 degrees, but not all apps allow this. Thanks!
You may have just simply bought a low quality Screen and Digitizer assembly. It sounds like the Digitizer on the assembly has gone bad on you. I would try a new Screen and Digitizer assembly that is higher in quality and has a lifetime warranty that covers failures like this.
