I have a Kenmore Elite model 795.72483.410 refrigerator. First noticed problem of ice melting in ice bin. Then notice ice cream melting but everything else frozen. Top part of fridge was 55 degrees and freezer 24 degrees. Found the evaporator fan moto for ice bin not working. Replaced it but still same problem with unit not getting to set temperature.
Hi, Is the compressor running and is the evaporator unit (inside the freezer compartment behind a panel) getting icy cold? Are the condenser coils warm? Can you hear the evap fan running? You’ll need to listen with near against the fridge as the fan will stop if a door is open.
