It works perfectly and sometimes it suddenly dies. I tried opening it up and replaced the glass and also put the LCD into another ipad and it works all the time. No luck. Sometimes pressing on the glass near the connector brings it back to life. Nothing visible on the board near the connectors, when inspected at 100X.
When you say " it dies" do you mean that the LCD goes blank but there is still activity (sound) occurring? Or do you mean that it shuts off and needs to be rebooted? If it is the latter, I wonder if the battery connector is loose? Try tightening the screw on the logic board where the battery connects.
