I’ve had this TV for about 5 years now and always wondered why one side of the screen was darker than the other. I saw a quick fix video on YouTube with a TV that had the same problem but the guy had a different brand TV. Is there a quick fix for this or am I going to struggle to fix this problem?
@rickeydanger really not much of a quick fix for this. Screen displays like this are commonly found when a backlight array fails (LED backlight strips) or a power board that does not supply full voltage to that side of the array. You can start by measuring the voltages supplied from your power board into the LED strips and compare those values. Let us know what you find. This will of course require you to remove the back of your TV. Take some good pictures of your boards and post those with your question.
