I have a weird issue. The system will freeze at the log in screen. I ha e to force it off and turn it back on. Over and over. But connect it to a external monitor and it’s ok. No freezing. Works perfectly. What should I do. I’ve tried fresh os install and 3 ssd’s. And with and without a battery. The screen has a bent corner but no cracks just a deformity on a corner from being dropped.
It is very possible that the drop has caused damaged somewhere in the display or caused the cables for the display to come loose. If you are able to try taking it apart and reseat the cables. Also check to make sure there wouldn’t be any pinches from the case where the bent corner is. If still happens I would look for a different LCD screen.
