I have an Electro Brand- Nostalgic style record player Turn table with AM/FM radio. Casette and CD player, bought it brand new , have hardly used the turn table , mainly have used the radio and auxilary port to listen to podcasts from my android phone, the unit has 2 built in speakers on left and right front . I recently noticed that sound was only on the right side front speaker, I checked the turn table and it does not turn, but it does make the sound that it is trying to turn. radio, casette, cd players work fine, auxilary is working too , It just does not have sound on left front speaker and Turntable doesn’t turn. Any help would be appreciated…. Update (11/08/2019) small label on back just has EB 9287GB 082011 0811928712461 Hope That Helps…! ???
Hi, There’s not much information out there on this unit. How long have you had it? Check the warranty information that should be with the user guide and if still in warranty contact the manufacturer as per the warranty details. If out of warranty can only suggest that you open it up and check that the belt that drives the turntable (if it is a belt type and not a direct drive type) has not broken. If the belt is still in there, measure the length to get an idea of the size belt replacement that you need. Also check the connections to the left speaker just in case it is something simple like a broken connection. If you have an Ohmmeter use it to test for continuity through the speaker coil. If you come across something that you’re not sure of post some pictures back here. Here’s how to do this. Adding images to an existing question
