Hi, I have a brand new Asus X456U, and I don’t know why, and it bothers me, but this indicator light beside the power button is blinking. The laptop works - it turns on, it shuts down, and it powers up. No problems, for now. I don’t know if this is like an indicator for an incoming problem and I’d like to return it ASAP if ever this is really a problem. Please tell me if it’s normal or not. Thank you!
The Blinking Orange LED is telling you the system is running on battery mode and the battery power is less than 10%. Refer to the manual here: Notebook PC E-Manual I think you should bring it back if after letting the system recharge if still shows a problem.
it is normal. i have the same PC. its the HDD light. it means that your hard drive is working/ storing information. you will get used to it.
