Chosen Solution

Hey guys, I just replaced the iPhone battery with the new one. Everything went well during the replacement. But now, I am facing a problem. The phone shows the correct charging symbol including buzzing when the cable is connected, but the battery is not charging… What I have tried so far:

  • Resetted the iPhone
  • Reconnected all parts
  • Tried the old battery It is all similar to the guide. But still, the phone says that it is charging the battery, but in fact, the battery is not gaining more power. Can anyone help me with this?

It could need a new charge port or it may be a problem with the logic board.

Connect your old battery if it charges then that old battery is a dud. I have had these batteries so many times.

Check on the logic board near the battery connector. There are a few tiny components. Check the FL17 component, it goes to the gas gauge line. If it is missing, this will happen. If it is missing, send it to @jessabethany, she can fix anything :)
