My KitchenAid dishwasher is not draining fully. I have tried a regular wash cycle and a rinse cycle and both leave standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher. If I push cancel after the cycle is complete, it will drain the rest of the water. I have already checked the drain hose for any kinks or clogs, it is clear. I removed the filter and checked for any debri that may be stuck. I checked the garbage disposal for a plug, it is clear and I can actually water draining from the dishwasher into the disposal. I replaced the drain pump and the turbidity sensor with hopes that would fix it. Water is draining but not fully, leaving standing water after the cycle is complete.
@meganbreigh What happens if you try draining the dishwasher by placing the drain hose into a bucket, does it fully drain? Have you checked that the drain hose is installed correctly?
