Hello, I think a bit of water may have got on to the USB c charger. This was then plugged in to the ipad and it is now not charging. If the device is turned off the charger connects but then stops charging. The charger still seems to work however as I have connected it to my phone and it charges this. Any suggestions? Thank you.
You may have damaged the charging port or possibly the tristar ic which controls charging and data transfer from the iPad. You will most likely need micrsoldering repair. You can find a local repair shop or I would recommend ipad rehab ipadrehab.com or sts telecom ststelecom.com they are the tops of there fields.
I just bought my and I did not work so I checked this and bought th tools then it broke now need to buy a new one .
