Hi guys, I’ve been doing a lot of glass repairs with oca. I have done a lot of iphones, with most of them succesfull. I have also tried some samsung screens, with alot more unsuccesfull results. I have never been succesfull so far for the galaxy S5
I have never had a fully bubble free result yet. I use a TBK-408 vacuum laminating machine with the following settings:
- vacuum time : 45 sec
- laminating time : 30 sec
- debubble time : 20 min
- laminating debubble temp : 40 deg C
- laminating press : 0,5 MPa I use the same settings with my iphone screens. Does anyone recognizes this?
Try turning your temp down to 35°C. That’s what mine is set to. Also, when applying new glass to the display, make sure you only press down in the middle, allowing it to seal evenly in the laminator.
