Chosen Solution
I purchased a new charger believing it was the problem but it wasn’t. The new charger charged the computer once and then after the orange dot no longer appeared. The display just shows the computer attempting to be charged but not enough power is being let in. I believe it is the part where the charger connects. I got a new battery last year so I know thats not the problem and I dont keep my laptop around any water. Any help will be appreciated, thank you for reading!
Other than the battery its self you have the DC-In board and then the charging logic on the main logic board. As you can’t get any response you’ll need to pop off the bottom cover and disconnect the battery, then see if you can get the system to spontaneous boot by just plugging in the MagSafe charger.
