I bought a macbook pro mid 2012….battery is running fine means it give 3-4 hours backup. but im facing the issue with that notification showing that service battery. ok so at some point i saw my battery was 24 % but after a while it shows 35%…. i dont know whats the issue is or should i replace the battery… Update (09/12/2022) here is the screenshot of coconut battery.
Sorry to say your battery is quite old! The batteries chemistry has a lifespan and its overshot that. You’ve been lucky the system is still working.
