I am not alone with that problem Why does an external display prevent my MBP from freezing & crashing? The problem with macOS is not something obvious like third party app - as I’ve installed clean latest macOS and I’ve got same problem - or SMC and NVRAM reset. The point is - our MacBooks work PERFECT in…. Windows (10) Boot Camp - but we didn’t buy MacBook to run…. Windows on it :(
Let try running the built-in diagnostics. Reboot your system and hold the D key. Did you get any errors?
