Hi, Did you try pressing Fn + F2 (both together) to check if the WiFi is turned on, you didn’t say? If still no good go to Device Manager > Network Adapter to check the status of the Ralink WLAN adapter. If it is listed and shows a red cross next to it, right click on the entry and select enable. If it is listed and shows a yellow exclamation mark next to it, right click on the entry and select update driver and follow the prompts. You need to be online to do this. If it is listed, with no error indicators, right click on the entry and select Properties > General to view the Device status. If it is not listed in Device Manager under Network Adapters check if there is a category listing in Device Manager for “Other Devices” and check if it is listed there. If it is there you need to update the drivers for the device. Also try enabling Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices in case it is there but hidden for some reason If it is not shown at all in Device Manager check in BIOS whether the WLAN has been disabled. Start the laptop and press F2 before the laptop boots into Windows. When in BIOS menus, go to Security > Wireless Network Interface > unblock, save the changes and then restart the laptop. Update (06/10/2020) Hi @ASIANFans Lyriko Don’t know but maybe if the WLAN card has come loose or is faulty it may also not appear as an option in BIOS. Here’s a link to the parts for the laptop. Click on sub board to find the part numbers for the WLAN or WLAN + BT card. Then search online using the part number only to find suppliers of the card that suit you. Here’s a video that shows the teardown of the laptop. At 8:30 minutes into the video the WLAN card replacement is shown. I’m sure that you won’t have to disassemble the laptop that far to remove / replace the card if that is what you decide to do. Just make sure that you disconnect the battery before working inside the laptop and only reconnect it as late as possible when reassembling to avoid any problems. The other alternative to get WLAN working is to get a USB WiFi adapter and use that, although it is more inconvenient having to carry the adapter everywhere. Just search online for suppliers that suit you.
