Chosen Solution
After my laptop went to sleep, I press the power button to wake it up but it still black screen and I listen to the machine still hear it working. It happens few times not always. I press the power button and hold it for 60 second and press it back it start to boot normally. Could you help me to explain why this happen?
It is exactly the problem of Intel Management Engine driver version 11. Downgrade it to version 9.5 and the problem is solved once and for all. In my case the problem occurred because I had formatted the laptop and then updated it, so the driver went to version 11. I had to manually download and install the version 9.5 from the dell support website.
