My Kenmore elite washer model #79631512210 would not go into spin cycle. It will repeat rinse and drain. On regular wash selection it will repeat rinse. If rinse and spin is selected it will only drain. It gives unbalance error fault code. I re-leveled the machine, nothing seem to work. Thanks for any help
Most Frequent Causes for UE - UNBALANCE ERROR // Wash load unbalanced Cause 1 Shock Absorber Cause 2 Suspension Rod
REF: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/740318… The above link is to your owners manual to the UE (unbalanced load) error code. The repeat rinse and drain is an automatic attempt to rebalance the load. If this auto-attempt is not successful, the error code is displayed until you open the lid to allow you to manually readjust the load. According to your manual, this error code can be give for the following causes:
- The load is too small
- Heavy articles are mixed with lighter items.
- The load is out of balance or collected to one side. Assuming you have ensured these 3 causes are not the issue, you may have a bad Hall sensor on the stator. This is the sensor that monitors the speed and direction of the motor, but can also determine an off balance load if the speed fluctuates. You can check the hall sensor by measuring the following:
