my phone have encountered persistent problems with screen going black whenever i make or receive a call in my Windows Phone 8 device. This makes it unresponsive, so it’s difficult to cancel or end the call can anybody tell how to resolve it.
Your screen is supposed to go black when you hold your phone to your ear, it does this using a proximity sensor. However, if your phone goes black as soon as you make a call and stays black the whole time this would indicate that the proximity sensor in your phone is malfunctioning and requires replacing. I can’t offer any guide on how to replace this without knowing the manufacturer and model of your windows phone.
