if re-sock the battery plug still not work for you Then it is the battery battery and battery, Time to change your new batt There is internal power regulator circuitry that monitor the voltage level. It will shut down the device if threshold not met.
I also though this was a software problem or that the battery was faulty but read somewhere that there could be a problem with the battery contacts. I removed the back, using a set of cheap plastic spudgers, disconnected the battery at the connector and reconnected, pressing home the fitting as tightly as I dared. It’s been working fine since. Ofcourse there may be other causes, such as a faulty or expended battery
I also have the same problem , but what i did with mine is that i disconnected the battery and “tada” i never experienced the restart again , might be battery calibration issue with bms , just make sure to clean the battery terminals before putting it back i also use an app called “BatteryBot” , the voltage of the battery of mine is 3.09v when on 15% , normally it should be between 3.5 to 3.4v , it might be possible that the battery is almost ready to give up as the same as its happening to yours I know its not a permanent solution But replugging the battery should temporarily fix it :)
The charging port connection is not properly connected. Look on YouTube for video on disassembly and push down the charge connector and clean battery connection and charge port with electronic cleaner and test it before putting the back case back on to make sure it works. That is what fixed mine. Others replace battery, and I don’t think that’s the problem. It’s just a bad connection.
The solder joints of the battery connector on the motherboard is weak. If you see it under a microscope, you will see some cold cracked solder joints. You need to re-solder them and you should be fine after that. I did some galaxy tab with the same problem.
I have same problem, found out when battery above 505 no problem, below it starts to reboot. A battery problem I prosume
I had this same issue and apparently all connections are snap on and the charge port connection was not properly seated and would cause random restarts and charge issues. Would state fully charged and then power off and restart and show a different charge level… I opened it up and found that the connection was just laying there barely making contact and at times not making contact at all. I didnt need a new battery or Board. Works like new and my girlfriend says its the fastest tablet she has used. Hope this helps someone fix there tablet without spending more money.
I disconnected the battery cleaned the contacts with qtip and window cleaner. FIXED. Also replaced the battery just because it was original. It is a very nice piece of equipment. I have also bought a Samsung keyboard/case and a soft cover on ebay.
I’ve tried all of the above given tips. Cleaned the battery contacts, looked for the battery contact soldering damage on the board seems fine. I even went to the extent of changing the battery with another, but could obly find another used original battery but they both seem fine as ive looked at the amperage and a constantly 3.8-9 mostly. But my problem persists, which is the random restarts and or random blank screen, where you gef a blank screen for almost 5-10 minutes before it restarts. And yes it happens even with the battery on! I guess I’ll try the usb connector
When you start the tablet push.power + volume up + home button. Until samsung emblem shows . This is where using vup and vdn high light Erase cache then push power to select . Screen notifications will show at bottom then scroll to reboot push power. . Ignition acts properly then there is an error being written in restart file at Or during operation Or closing when mods.to start file are written. This being true you’re gonna wanna reload the firmware. Down load it model specific at Samsung. Samobile websites follow instructions. Any further of the same replace the battery for floating voltage or amperage during operation of specific radios.
