@jhurd1985 not spinning is usually a lid switch issue. Since yours worked when you advanced the timer, it may be the timer control. Give us your washers complete model number so we can see if there is a tech sheet for this. Update (04/06/2019) @jhurd1985 see if this diagnostic mode will work for your washer as well. Follow these instructions to get into the diagnostics mode. Let us know what it shows. It is possible that your shift actuator, which contains the RPM sensor, has failed. Of course make sure that the pulleys and belts are actual tight and working. Won’t spin check: Is lid lock showing open during the cycle? Drive belt. Harness connections. Shifter problem. Motor problem. Tachometer problem. Main control problem.
i have this same question. my washer does not final spin, but it does drain. we have replaced the pump. this is a general electric top load washer.
